THERE ARE THREE BASIC COMPONENTS TO BUILDING YOUR WEB SITE
**Internet Access is separate from any of the other features on this page and is required
for you to access the internet from your computer.  You probably already have an AOL,
or Earthlink or Cox.net account for this purpose.  Regardless if you move, or change,
"internet access servers" your web site remains in the same place at the same IP address.

1.  Your Domain Name -

Every web site has a URL - (Uniform Resource Locator) or domain name.

(ex.) - http://yourdomainname.com.

One easy way to check to see if the name you would like is taken, is to type that name into the address bar at the top of your browser to see what pops up. If there is a web page present it is taken.  If you get an error page there is a good chance it is available.  It still needs to be checked with a registrar.

The second way is to access the domain registrar of your choice and do a "whois" search.

2.  Hosting -

Web Site hosting is where the domain name or URL willl be given an IP address.

Domain Name:   http://yourdomainname.com

Lives at:  (IP address) - 664.12.548.9

Web hosting for the IP address starts at $5.95 per month (there are discounts for paying a year at-a-time).  More advanced features such as databases, flash presentations, extensive forms and other advanced features will require more than a basic account.  E-commerce carts are $15.00 per month with our hosting.

3.  Design and Maintenance -

Every site is designed to fit and reflect each individual site.

Shopping cart prices are dependent on shop requirements and number of products.

Maintenance prices are usually less expensive with a yearly agreement if you anticipate regularly scheduled changes.  Monthly changes to a newsletter or tip column prompt search engines to visit and re-index.
